TII and HEX20 to Power UAE’s First Locally Built Deep-Space Lander

The Technology Innovation Institute (TII), a subsidiary of the Advanced Technology Research Council, has officially signed a collaborative agreement with HEX20, in the presence of the UAE Space Agency, to contribute to the Emirates Mission to the Asteroid Belt (EMA) Lander.

As the prime contractor, TII is spearheading the development of the EMA Lander — the UAE’s first deep-space spacecraft to be fully designed, assembled, and tested within the country. HEX20, based in the UAE, will play a key role in supporting the development of the spacecraft bus.

This collaboration marks a significant milestone in advancing the UAE’s space technology ecosystem and underscores our shared commitment to shaping the future of space exploration.
