Polish space infrastructure firm SatRev has completed the delivery of a ground station to Oman, strengthening its footprint in the Middle East’s growing space sector. The milestone marks the latest achievement in SatRev’s partnership with Omani state-owned ETCO Space.

Over the past two years, SatRev designed and constructed a 3.5-meter antenna system at its Wrocław facility, capable of satellite communication in UHF and S bands. The system was later installed in the Omani desert, with a protective radome engineered to withstand harsh environmental conditions, including sand and saline coastal winds.
The partnership began at the 2021 International Astronautical Congress in Dubai, where SatRev, Polish AI and data analytics company TUATARA, and ETCO signed an MoU. The agreement outlined the development of Oman’s first cubesat, the construction of the ground station, and technical training for local engineers.
According to SatRev, the station is modular and scalable, supporting new satellite platforms, AI integrations, and data analytics tools under a Ground Station-as-a-Service (G-SaaS) model. It can serve both government and commercial clients.
In 2024, SatRev and the Omani government launched a joint venture named Spazers to develop and deploy satellites. This move complements SatRev’s broader strategy to offer sovereign space capabilities to international partners.
