Rocket Elements and Technologies (RE&T) has been awarded first place in the Oman Space Accelerator Program (OSAP). The announcement was made during the Middle East Space Conference 2026.
RE&T is an engineering startup focused on the development of high-pressure turbopumps for the aerospace industry. Turbopumps can represent up to 60% of the total cost of a rocket engine, and RE&T’s technology is aimed at reducing production costs while meeting performance requirements for launch systems.
The company has finalized a proof-of-concept (PoC) turbopump capable of increasing liquid hydrogen pressure to 800 bar. This PoC provides the technical basis for RE&T to offer customized turbopump solutions tailored to the requirements of customers and partners.
The award reflects the outcomes of the Oman Space Accelerator Program, which supports the development of early-stage space technologies and engineering capabilities within the region.
