The United Arab Emirates (UAE) has taken a significant step towards strengthening its position as a global space leader with the establishment of the Supreme Space Council. Announced on October 7, 2024, the Council will be chaired by Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai.
