Space and Defence Industry in the GCC: Market Intelligence Platform

Spacetech in Gulf is launching its own data platform dedicated to monitoring deals and ecosystem development across the space and defence industries in the GCC region.

The platform is designed to systematically track investments, partnerships, contracts, and strategic initiatives shaping the sector across six countries: the UAE, Saudi Arabia, Oman, Bahrain, Qatar, and Kuwait.

To date, we have mapped just under 1,000 entities operating across the region. These include both local and international organizations that are actively involved in, or connected to, the development of the space and defence ecosystem.

In developing this platform, our objective was to build a comprehensive and structured database covering the full value chain. The scope deliberately extends beyond companies to include:

  • Academic institutions, universities, and research centers
  • Government and public-sector entities
  • Private companies and startups
  • Investors and investment vehicles

Key features of the platform include:

  • Access to a regional calendar of conferences and industry events related to space and defence
  • Access to a curated list of space and defence organizations, both local and international
  • Access to a structured database of deals between local and international organizations, including MoUs, partnerships, investments, and commercial agreements
