Abu Dhabi Maritime Academy has partnered with UAE-based geospatial analytics company Stellaria to launch Orbion, a new joint venture delivering real-time satellite-powered maritime intelligence.
Orbion combines AI-enhanced satellite imagery with advanced data fusion to offer global insights into vessel tracking, port efficiency, coastal infrastructure monitoring, and environmental risks. The platform will support port authorities, shipping companies, and coastal developers, helping them improve operations, monitor security, and respond to environmental challenges.
This initiative aligns with the UAE’s growing investment in space-enabled services and enhances Abu Dhabi’s position as a regional hub for maritime innovation.
